BIM Coordinator

TGSR is working on behalf of a leading consulting company who are seeking to hire a BIM Coordinator. The ideal candidate will provide Project technical leadership for Data Management & Building Information Modelling (BIM).


Salary is up to £47,000, dependent on experience.



Person Specification

  • Relevant University degree or similar qualification in any of the discipline such as IT, Engineering, or construction
  • Experience of working on projects using BIM technologies
  • Practical work experience in using Industry standard Documents and Data Management System on projects you have worked on.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the projects and externally with the Supply Chain
  • Being able to utilise point cloud and LiDAR data to facilitate design deliverable production would be an advantage
  • Previous experience in ProjectWise and eB administration for project delivery would be an advantage
  • Having detailed knowledge in implementing BIM and collaborating the working processes such as BS, PAS and AVANTI would be an advantage




  • Collaborate directly with Stakeholders, Suppliers and their supply chains to assure the quality of collaborative digital deliverables within digital environment
  • Construct the Project BIM processes, methodologies and guidance for collaborative and delivery of information and data
  • Ensure compliance of Information Management Strategy, programme BIM standards and its methods & procedures by administering Programme implemented Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Identify and promote cost avoidance and reduction by implementing BIM process
  • Create and exploit efficiencies to deliver benefits to the programme portfolio
  • Ensure BIM ethic is consistently applied throughout contracts covered within the Programme under the direction of Information Manager
  • Provide project based assurance and compliance programme, industry recognised and internal BIM standards, methods and procedures
  • Create and maintain BIM implementation and adopt metrics for allocated projects
  • Represent proactively at industry recognised forums related to BIM, CAD and Electronic Information Management highlight and championing successes realised
